The rule of total loss at 75% was applied to me when an attorney hit me and ended the life of my baby blue Oldsmobile 98 in Illinois. What stung is that the insurance company wouldn't give me a choice on keeping the machine in it's damage but street legal and functioning state because I refused signing a waver on my personal injury.
